Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois: Façade lighting
Les Trois Rois is one of the urban hotels in Europe. With its elegant classical architecture and French flair, it is the premier address in Basel. The front building of the Grand Hotel was redesigned and refurbished by architects Herzog & de Meuron.
As part of this remodelling, for which KARDORFF also provided the lighting design, the exterior lighting for the entire complex was renewed. The lighting was implemented using projection technology, which enables precise and balanced illumination of the facade.

The Hotel Les Trois Rois in Basel has been expanded by Herzog & de Meuron through the transformation of the former Basler Kantonalbank building. The project features a ballroom, a cigar lounge, conference rooms, suites, and a Japanese-inspired wellness area - all showcasing a striking design design where light and material play a central role, and which boldly contrasts with the hotel's traditional aesthetic.

A new landmark for Frankfurt: ONE.
Light seems to rain down on the façade. A subtle, dynamic control system lets the light drip down the façade. Slow and calm in its lighting effect; yet spectacular for the effect of the building at night.- Building type

We planned the hotel lighting in the Tower ONE skyscraper in Frankfurt: Rooms, rooftop bar, conference areas and lobbies in close collaboration with the interior designers from Madrid.
